Privacy Policy

Fiddunya.Walakhirah is an independent digital-resource store operated by an individual based in Pakistan. This policy explains how information is handled when you browse our website, create an account or use our resources. For privacy questions, contact fwalakhirah@gmail.com.

Information we handle

Account information includes your email address, name, account identifier, authentication provider and profile picture if supplied. We also store your wishlist, purchased resource access, order details, payment status and download history. Support messages contain the information you choose to send us. If you subscribe to the newsletter, we store your email and subscription consent.

Google sign-in

If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides basic account information, including your name, email address, account identifier and profile picture where available. We use it to authenticate you and maintain your website account. This sign-in integration does not request access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files or contacts, and we do not receive your Google password.

Google account information is processed through Supabase for authentication and account storage. We do not sell it or use it for advertising. You can revoke the app’s access through your Google Account connections settings; revoking access does not itself delete your website account or purchase records.

Why we use information

We use information to provide account access, process purchases, make purchased PDFs available, record download requests, respond to support, send account and order messages, and protect the service against misuse. Newsletter subscriptions are separate from Google sign-in and can be cancelled through the unsubscribe option.

Payments and service providers

Lemon Squeezy handles its hosted checkout and payment processing. Payment and billing details you enter there are handled under its privacy policy. Our website receives order references, customer information, amounts and payment status to confirm access; it does not store your full card number or card security code.

We use Vercel to host the website and Supabase for authentication, database and file storage. Email delivery services, including Resend when configured, process recipients and message content needed to deliver website emails. These providers may process information outside Pakistan. Their own policies explain their handling of information. We may also disclose information when legally required or necessary to investigate abuse and protect users.

Cookies and browser storage

Authentication cookies maintain your signed-in session. Browser local storage remembers your cart. Hosting and authentication services may process technical information such as IP addresses and request logs for operation and security. Blocking essential cookies can prevent sign-in from working; clearing browser storage can remove your saved cart.

Retention and security

We retain information as needed to operate your account, provide purchased access, resolve disputes and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Financial records may need to remain after an account deletion request. Access controls and temporary download links protect private files, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and requests

You can edit supported profile details in your account. To request access, correction or deletion of your information, email fwalakhirah@gmail.com from your account email. We may verify your identity before acting and will explain any information that must be retained. Account deletion may remove access to your library. Applicable privacy rights depend on your location.

Children and educational resources

Our learning materials may be used with children, but store accounts and purchases are intended for adults such as parents, guardians and educators. Please do not submit children’s personal information. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can investigate and address it.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. Material changes will be communicated where required.
